Njavarakizhi is a distinct Ayurvedic treatment using Njavara (Shashtika Shali) or cooked rice mixed with milk and herbal extract of Kurunthotti (Sida Rhombifolia) tied in cotton boluses called as kizhis. This treatment helps to strengthen the nerves, reduce arthritis and cure neurological complaints.
